Conditions

• Target group, time frame
  • Target group: Graduates of the Experiencing Leadership and Developing Leadership programmes can apply for funds to run a follow-up workshop.
  • The objective is to embed leadership topics, to build on what has already been learned and to cultivate networks.
  • Time frame: You can apply to the Leibniz Leadership Academy for a follow-up workshop within a year of the end of the programme. Following approval, the workshop should be held within three months.
  • Quantity: One workshop can be funded per group. Up to three groups can be funded per year.
  • Funding amount: As a guide: €4,500 (gross).
• What can be funded?
  • Costs for a moderator/trainer/speaker: approx. 0.5 training days (up to a maximum of 1 training day in justified cases). When applying, please obtain and submit three comparable quotes addressed to the Leibniz Academy. Orders will be placed by the Leibniz Academy.
  • Catering: Catering during the workshop, evening meal including water for the table.
  • Room hire: We recommend holding the workshop in the Leibniz Association building or at a Leibniz institute. When making alternative proposals, please obtain and submit three comparable quotes addressed to the Leibniz Academy.
  • Note: Travel and accommodation costs must be covered by the participants themselves.
• Requirements and how to apply
  • Number of participants: At least two-thirds of the course participants should intend to take part in the follow-up workshop.
  • Contact person: A participant must take on responsibility and be available to liaise with the Academy on organisational matters.
  • Organisation: The workshop must be largely organised and run by the group itself. The Leibniz Academy team is happy to give support and advice (e.g. regarding the choice of topic and speaker).
  • How to apply: The application should clearly state the objective, benefits and expected costs of the workshop. Please use the template below and send us your application to akademie(at)leibniz-gemeinschaft.de.
